Northern Waters Rare Fish Preservation Society
"Conserving the rare for a future we all share."
The Northern Waters Rare Fish Preservation Society will be dedicated to safeguarding the aquatic treasures of Northern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Our mission will be to explore, conserve, and educate, with a profound commitment to the preservation of rare and endangered fish species in the region.

Together, with unwavering dedication, the Northern Waters Rare Fish Preservation Society will strive to protect and celebrate the unique aquatic heritage of our Northern waters for generations to come. Join us in our journey to safeguard these irreplaceable treasures and restore the balance of our ecosystems.
Our Goals:
Exploration:
We will embark on adventurous expeditions to discover and document new species of nano fish in the pristine waterways of Northern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Conservation:
We will prioritize the legal capture and responsible captive breeding of rare fish species, ensuring their survival and contributing to the restoration of damaged waterways.

Restoration:
We will maintain thriving captive populations of native rare species, acting as a lifeline for those on the brink of extinction. Our aim will be to reintroduce them into their natural habitats, revitalizing the health of our water ecosystems.

Education:
We will be committed to raising awareness about the importance of native fish species to our fragile ecosystems. Through outreach programs, workshops, and educational initiatives, we will inspire the next generation of conservationists.

Sustainability:
We will work tirelessly to facilitate the preservation and sustainable management of Great Lakes shorelines, tributaries, and estuaries, ensuring the long-term well-being of our native fish populations.
